Our Mission
GeminiVax Kft is a Hungarian vaccine-development start-up focused on next-generation veterinary vaccines for swine health.
Our mission is to reduce losses caused by major viral infections, improve piglet survival and growth, and support sustainable productivity in modern swine production.
We are developing broad-spectrum veterinary vaccine candidates designed for a changing viral landscape, where pathogen diversity, strain drift and regional variation increasingly challenge conventional vaccine approaches.

What we do
GeminiVax develops broadly protective swine vaccine candidates using an advanced attenuated influenza-virus vector platform originally developed by Capricorn Technologies GmbH.
The platform is designed to deliver carefully selected pathogen-derived immune targets, including conserved cytotoxic T-cell epitopes and neutralising B-cell epitopes. This allows the development of compact antigenic cassettes intended to stimulate both cellular and humoral immune responses.
Our strategy is to create vaccines that are less vulnerable to viral mutation, regional strain variation and changing epidemiological patterns — particularly for respiratory and systemically transmitted viral diseases of swine.
Why It Matters
Swine viral diseases remain a major cause of mortality, reduced weight gain, reproductive losses, secondary infections and increased production costs worldwide. Existing vaccines can be highly valuable, but many are challenged by viral diversity, strain drift, incomplete cross-protection and regional epidemiological differences.
GeminiVax is developing vaccine candidates designed to address these limitations through conserved immune targets, vector-based antigen delivery and rational immune-response design.
Core Innovative Technologies
Vector Platform
GeminiVax applies a double-attenuated influenza-virus vector that can be configured to carry selected immune targets from pathogens of interest. The vector is intended to support strong cellular immunity, mucosal responses and flexible antigen-cassette design.
Informatics-Guided Epitope Selection
Unique bioinformatics approach for in-silico selection of CTL and B-cell epitopes, prediction of their relative immunogenic strength, and assembling into pathogen-originated epitope cassettes.
Built-In Immune Modulation
Selected immune-response modulators and synthetic adjuvant technologies may be incorporated to enhance or shape vaccine-induced responses, including dendritic-cell activation and polarisation.

For Partners and Investors
GeminiVax is building a focused portfolio of next-generation swine vaccine candidates targeting major viral diseases of global economic importance.
The company is seeking strategic partnerships with animal-health companies, swine producers, research institutions, grant organisations and investors interested in innovative vaccine technologies for veterinary use.
Our development model is milestone-based, with vaccine candidates progressing from rational antigen design and vector construction to immunological evaluation, target-animal testing, field studies and licensing or co-development opportunities.
